Owners Tim Vokey & Beth Robertson of Tim's Take Out and family have been organic farming in Lanark Highlands since 1989 and will provide an extension of their beliefs into their business, to be as sustainable and local as possible, growing or buying local ingredients to add to their menu. At present they buy Lanark County beef, bacon, tempeh burgers, Ontario grown tomatoes and potatoes. An Ottawa bakery provides fresh bake kaiser buns. Chicken burgers, zucchini sticks, chicken fingers, fresh made beef burgers, breakfast sandwiches, peameal bacon and tomato on a toasted kaiser bun, fresh cut French fries, sweet potato fries and poutine, freshly brewed coffee, juice, soda pop, are some of whats served up. At present the plastic bottles and the used fryer oil is taken away and recycled, and soda pop cans are donated for School fund raisers. Come out and enjoy the beautiful weather at the grassy picnic area at their out door eatery, surrounded by lush Lanark forest. There is plenty of parking. Hours of Operation Monday closed Tuesday to Friday 11:30 am to 8:00 pm
