We have the following Bare root trees and shrubs available around the 3rd week in April:

Apples: Grafted on semi dwarf rootstock M26, (12-16’) Zone 4-5, needs a pollinator COX’S ORANGE PIPPIN: (3 left)(England 1840) small red-orange apple excellent for juice, dessert or cider.  early-mid season. GOLDEN RUSSET: (3 left) (New England 1700’s) Smaller, late season, brown russetted apple. Disease and insect resistant. Good for eating, cooking and cider. LOBO: (4 left)(Ottawa, 1909)  Hardy mid season red apple for dessert or cooking.  NOVAMAC: (4 left) (Nova Scotia)  A modern disease resistant McIntosh type, for eating, late season. ROYAL GALA: (1 left) (New Zealand) Popular modern red and yellow dessert apple, Mid season  Pears: Zone 5, needs pollinator, height 25 feet. HARROW CRISP: (3 left) Yellow tinged with blush fruit, firm sweet flesh, in the early part of the season. Good for eating, cooking and canning. Disease resistant. HARROW GOLD: (4 left) Early, large yellow fruit with fine juicy flavour, good for eating, processing. Excellent resistance to Fire Blight. HARROW SWEET: (4 left) Yellow with red blush, harvest early October, good resistance to fire blight, sweet, juicy, excellent taste.  Sour Cherry: Zone 3, self fertile METEOR: (5 left) Semi dwarf (8-12’ tall), used for desserts, jams, jellies, pies. Red fruit is harvested in July. NORTH STAR: (4 left) Similar to Meteor but with darker fruit and harvest 1 week earlier. EVANS: (4 left) Hardiest sour cherry, found in Alberta in 1920’s, 12-15’ tall.   Plum:  10-12’ tall ITALIAN: (3 left) Zone 5, blue plum, late Aug-Sept, good for fresh and preserves, needs pollinator.  MOUNT ROYAL: Zone 3, hardiest blue plum, mid-late August, yellow flesh, good fresh or for preserves. Self fertile (extra pollinator recommended). SOLD OUT  Fruit bush:( 20 left)  BLACK CURRANT - 2 year, hardy and will fruit in second year on previous years wood.
