Heritage Harvest Farms is offering a Year Round Full Diet CSA 

  great  g grea greagreVegetables’ customers are encouraged to come to the farm and harvest extra vegetables for freezing, canning and so on for winter use. Make some salsa or spaghetti sauce to enjoy in the colder months.

Summer includes the cool season vegetables of spring as well as the full bounty of summer. You can expect everything from greens to herbs to tomatoes, peppers, baby carrots, summer squash, greens, beets, peas, chard, kale, kohlrabi onions and more.
 

Fall is our most diverse harvest season. You'll receive all the diversity of the late summer, our fall cool-season vegetables, and you'll get to experience the beginning of the winter hoop house harvest.
 

Winter includes many different kinds of cold-hardy greens, root vegetables and herbs from our hoops, as well as about a dozen different kinds of vegetables from our fall harvest in storage.

Turnips, several varieties of cabbage, winter squash, onions, potatoes, quinoa, dry beans for soups, Brussel sprouts, winter greens (spinach, beet greens, kale). For something extra we often add pickled eggs, sauerkraut, sprouts and so on.

During the late winter we enjoy new flavors frozen from the summer bounty. Sweet potatoes, butternut squash, peas, spinach, broccoli, corn, carrots and so on are a few of the things I process here for you to enjoy.

Herbs - Fresh herbs are available during the growing season. We would encourage members to dry herbs for winter use. As well as for herbal teas all winter long.

Maple syrup 250 ml/ max as requested per week

Organic Free Range Eggs 1 doz. per week arrangements can be made if you need more

Artisan Bread: 2 - 1 lb. loaves per week of fresh baked bread will be tucked into your basket.

Meat - You can choose the meat that you prefer or we can surprise you (this is what most families prefer). A full meat list of cuts can be sent to you.

You are welcome to choose four packages of meat each week.

Eg.: Four pk sausages, two pk chicken breasts, 3lb beef roast, 1lb lean ground beef

**We also have our own sausages and bacon, as well as smoked chicken and turkey.

Some meat cuts will be gone before others due to the nature of what cuts are available on an animal. This just means we enjoy them less frequently, and as a treat.

Members are welcome to harvest any produce they wish to have weekly. If you do not wish to pick your own, you may choose from what we have harvested for you. Members are not limited in quantities of produce. We encourage you to take extra for off season use. Canning and freezing are great ways to extend the summers harvest and enjoy fresh food year round.

Our hope is to make the grocery store unnecessary for the families we work with.

Year Round Members pick up their share every week (day to be decided), year-round.

If you are unable to pick up, drop off locations are available in some areas.

Cost: For two adults the weekly cost is $100.00 per week/year round

The cost for each additional person 10 years and older is $45.00 per week

All above information is based on quantities and pricing for two adults.

For a share that would be good for two adults and two children this will increase the quantities in your baskets. Your meat would increase to seven packages. You may take whatever veggies you can use or I can pick extra for you, two dozen eggs and three loaves of bread will be included as well. Cost: $190.00
